What are some foundation types?

Modular homes can be installed on a variety of permanent foundations depending on site conditions and project requirements.

  • Concrete Pedestals — engineered concrete piers supporting the home.
  • Helical Piles — steel screw piles with minimal excavation and fast installation.
  • Helical Piles with Grade Beams — reinforced concrete grade beams connecting piles for additional rigidity.
  • Concrete Crawl Space or Basement — provides storage or living space. Crawl spaces may be insulated (conditioned and warm, allowing uninsulated floor systems) or uninsulated (requiring insulated floor systems). Our engineering team recommends the most appropriate solution for each site.
